Corporate Governance

Corporate Governance is an essential element of the operations of EquityLine Mortgage Investment Corporation. To maintain proper governance the Board of Directors has approved and, through its committees, actively monitors all aspects of the business. The board and management believe that accountability and transparency of the Company’s activities are important to increase shareholder confidence, and positively impact the Corporation’s business success.

Governance Committees

The Corporation has several committees dedicated to issues of governance and oversight. They are a Compensation Committee, a Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, and an Audit and Risk Management Committee. There is also an ad-hoc committee responsible for guiding the company’s response to the pandemic. Each committee consists of staff members and directors (related and independent). For a current list of committees and their members please refer to the governance committee’s membership list in the current documents section of this website.
